NorNAB Launches New Webinar Series on Impact Investing in Practice

NorNAB has introduceda new webinar series, Impact Investing in Practice, dedicated tobringing impact investing theory to life through concrete examples andreal-world experiences from the field.

The series focuses on private markets and is designed for investors, particularly those newer to the field, seeking a practical understanding of how impact investing differs from conventional private market strategies.

The opening session, held on 2nd of June 2026, centered on a key Norwegian sector: aquaculture. Contributors included Karina Wessel, Impact Manager at BlueFront Equity, and Ingrid Maurstad, Impact Director at Katapult Ocean, who shared insights into their investment strategies, the role of impact as a potential driver of outperformance, and the challenges that arise when theory meets practice. The session was moderated by Urs Bitterling, Chief Sustainability Officer at Cubera Private Equity.

Across the series, a select group of LPs and impact-focused GPs will explore how they approach impact alongside financial performance, including the trade-offs that can emerge when integrating the two. Topics will span investment processes, return expectations, and impact measurement.

Future sessions will shortly be announced on our event page, and will continue to be published on NorNAB's webinar page.
